Advocate’s Annual Insider Summit Inspires CIOs

The Advocate’s annual Cloud and Connectivity Insider Summit took place in Charleston, SC on November 3-5, 2015.  This exclusive summit was held at the Charleston Place Hotel and hosted more than 30 IT leaders from companies like Aaron’s, Blue Cross Blue Shield, BMC Software, Ceridian, Dollar Tree, SunTrust, and many more.

Over the course of the two-day conference, attendees participated in engaging panels about some of the most thought-provoking trends in cloud, connectivity and unified communications.  From innovative subjects such as "Hybrid Cloud and the Data Center” and “How to Leverage Shadow IT," to "Architecture for Redundancy in the Cloud" and "How to Attract and Retain Technology Talent”, attendees of the Insider Summit discussed and shared their concerns, successes and challenges managing IT departments late into the evening. Read More

Insiders Step Up for Their Community 

Advocate strongly believes in performing community service.  As a matter of fact, the company’s community service program was inspired by the desire to commemorate September 11, 2001.  Thus, the company closed its doors on September 11, 2002 to work on a Habitat for Humanity house. 

The company has conducted dozens of community service projects at Mountain Top Boys Home, Habitat for Humanity, Georgia Appalachian Trial Club, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Atlanta Toolbank, Sheltering Arms, Hands on Atlanta, Ronald McDonald House, and many others.  Read More
