Join your peers at The TBM Executive Advisory Forum's first get-together to learn how senior IT leaders leverage Technology Business Management (TBM). TBM provides technology leaders with standards and validated best practices to communicate the cost, quality and value of IT investments to their business partners. In turn, IT is able to drive innovation for their organization.
Hosted by Advocate, The Premier TBM Services Company, this event is open to virtual and in-person attendees. The topic is: TBM Value Realization or in other words:
“You’ve polished the car and it’s time to drive it!”
Today’s IT leaders use that phrase to express their readiness to move beyond implementation of TBM and achieve true value realization for their enterprises.
While some organizations are realizing value with TBM, many companies are just now considering implementing TBM software tools and processes. Others already have TBM processes in place but have not yet reached the level of maturity where they are generating business outcomes. In all these cases, this event is relevant to everyone.
If you’re interested in TBM, then you realize its value goes far beyond IT cost reduction and higher productivity. Value realization is demonstrated by a noticeable improvement in one of two things: 1) top-line revenue, or 2) bottom-line profitability for the whole company. By that definition, many IT organizations still need more value realization.
Thus, the phrase “You’re done polishing the car – it’s time to drive it.” Your IT organization has added the capabilities that need to be in place to manage the business of IT or is considering it and wants to demonstrate its value to the C-level and beyond.
Let’s discuss WHY value realization is such a challenge to achieve and how to demonstrate it to the C-suite and above with and without TBM. Guest speaker: Gerry Imhoff, TBM Council Leadership Board Member and CIO/SVP of IT Services at Maritz, will share insights from his TBM journey and how Maritz has realized value beyond IT cost reduction and higher productivity! In fact, Maritz recently won the 2018 Business Alignment award at the 2018 TBM Conference.
